Why guidance sessions or executive coaching?

We spend on average 90,000 hours at work during our lifetime and yet, over half the working population are dissatisfied with their work, with only 17% of British workers saying they love their job!
For young people and those with a neurodivergence, inherited values of work and reasons to pursue a career can be hindered by an old-fashioned linear model of ‘career’ which is outdated and inadequate for today's workforce.
Neurodivergent individuals face significant employment challenges, with unemployment eight times higher than neurotypical people. Career guidance sessions can change this by giving you the space to make informed choices.

I’m Emma Barton, a level 7 registered career development professional (RCDP), 10 years qualified teacher (MA in Special Educational Needs Education), passionate SEN advocate, and the founder of Ausome Futures.
My mission is to help all people, particularly those of you who are neurodivergent to feel confident, optimistic, and excited about your career and next steps.
I offer bespoke career guidance discussions to help my clients to identify, plan, and take positive next steps.
